…the long winded version
As a colour & design aficionado, lifestyle expert, and DIY doyenne, Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault has spent years crafting a unique philosophy for design that fuses ingenuity, whimsy, and quality workmanship…all on a “frugalista” budget. She believes that we shouldn’t take our spaces too seriously, and that great design is not about how much money you spend, but rather how creative you can be.
An honours graduate from the Interior Decorating program at Sheridan College, and a former faculty member at her alma mater, Leigh-Ann has been sharing her vast knowledge of colour and design on Cityline since 2007, as well as contributing regularly as a writer for www.cityline.ca
After spending nearly a decade as the corporate Colour & Design Specialist for Benjamin Moore Paints, Leigh-Ann took a leap in early 2013 to open her own media and design company, Hue La La, and more recently joined Black & Decker Canada as their female spokesperson.
With a passion to educate and inspire, Leigh-Ann embraces every opportunity she gets to spark creativity and instill confidence in others who strive to “DO IT YOURSELF”.
